Obituary

Mr. Charles "Butch" William Taylor, 70, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was born on February 25, 1952 in Covington County, Alabama to Charles R. Taylor and Edwina Daughtery Taylor.

Mr. Taylor was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of Liberty. He worked as a truck driver for many years, having worked with Walton County, H and T Contracting, and Florida Transformers. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping with friends, and riding his four-wheeler "Mule".

Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his father and mother.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his sister Judy Robinson and husband Earl of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; his special friend Linda Kelly of Freeport, Florida; and numerous cousins.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Monday, May 16, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 16, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Pallbearers will be Joe Tucker, Chris Bedwell, Mike Matthews, Grady Sellers, David Milburn and Odon Russell. Honorary pallbearers will be Sammy McBroom and Chad Gillis.

Burial will follow at Cluster Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by the United States Army.

Flowers are being accepted.
