Bubba Duke, age 9, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, September 14, 2012. He was born December 17, 2002 in McDonna, Georgia to Charles and Tammy Hatchett Duke. Bubba had been a resident of DeFuniak Springs. He was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed wrestling, fishing, watching Florida Gators Football, NASCAR, and spending time with his family. He never met a stranger. Bubba is survived by his father and mother Charles and Tammy Duke of DeFuniak Springs; four brothers Jason Duke and wife Skylar of Sylvester, Georgia, Justin Duke and wife Stacy of DeFuniak Springs, Tommy Duke of Louisiana and Justin Owenby of Tomaston, Georgia; four sisters Alisha Duke of Mississippi, Britany Duke of Moultie, Georgia, Chelsea Duke of DeFuniak Springs and Jessica Owenby of Tomaston, Georgia; maternal grandparents Steve and Lois McDaniel of Zebulon, Georgia and paternal grandparents Charles and Elzie Duke of DeFuniak Springs, one niece Mikka Duke, several aunts, uncles and cousins. A time of visitation will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue; DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. A time of visitation will be held 12:00~2:00 PM, Monday, September 17, 2012 at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel at 2441 Georgia Highway 37 West, Moultrie, Georgia 31768. Graveside services will be held at 3:00, Monday, September 17, 2012 at Doerun City cemetery in Doerun, Georgia. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
