Obituary

Charles Wesley Coleman, 58, of Destin, Florida passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024 surrounded by his family.

Wes was born on September 7th, 1965 in Sacramento to Charles and Rosa Ann Coleman. He grew up in Niceville, Florida with two younger brothers, Craig and Scott, graduating from Niceville senior high school in 1983. Thereafter, receiving his Associates degree at Okaloosa-Walton community college.

He is survived by his parents, Charles Alvin and Rosa Ann Coleman of Dadeville, AL. Also, his brothers with their wives: Craig and Jamie Coleman of Cumming, GA, Scott and Jeryn Coleman of Harper Heights, TX, along with many nieces and nephews. Wesley leaves behind two daughters, Haley Dunwoodie and Jordan Green, along with his six grandchildren.  Remembering him as her former husband and lifelong best friend, Stacey Coleman of Niceville, FL.

Charles Wesley Coleman will be fondly remembered for his witty humor and infectious personality. Known for his quick, clever remarks, Wes had an uncanny ability to bring laughter and joy to any situation. His vibrant spirit and engaging presence made him a beloved friend and family member. Wes's humor was not only a source of entertainment but also a comfort and a way to connect deeply with others. His legacy of light-heartedness and warmth will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for everyone who knew and loved him.
