Mrs. Carolyn M. Brown, age 81, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022. She was born August 24, 1940 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Howard Lee Williams and Willie Tom Gladden Williams.

Mrs. Brown was a lifelong resident of Walton County. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed celebrating Christmas. She loved spending time with her sister-in-law Faye Thomason at Caring and Sharing. Red was her favorite color.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband of 58 years, Grady Vinson Brown, Sr.; two brothers, Harold Williams and Jack Williams; and three sisters, Marlyn Sparks, Angie McKowen, and Margaret Calhoun.

Mrs. Brown is survived by son, Vince Brown and wife Connie of the Eucheeanna Community; daughters, Dana Brown of Euchee Valley Community, and Debra White and husband Mike of Caryville, Florida; nine grandchildren, Kody Brown, Braidon Brown, Hannah Brown, Caitlin Morris, Colton Schofield, Ethan Schofield, Eric Schofield, Amy Tadlock and husband Michael, and Clint White and wife Kisha; her great grandchildren, Parker, Jaylin, Ainsley, Hazel, Tripp, Whitney, Hayden, Karlee, Rileigh, Hannah, Grady, Gunner, and Clara; and sisters in law, Evelyn Loquercio of Fort Walton Beach, Faye Thomason of Freeport, Littie Mobley of DeFuniak Springs, Lottie Johnson and husband David of DeFuniak Springs, and Becky Miller and husband Leslie of Freeport, Florida. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
