Mrs. Candace M. Gagnon, age 74, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at her home after a short illness. She was born on December 5, 1948 in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Candi grew up and lived most of her life in Quincy & Brimfield, Massachusetts before retiring and moving to Santa Rosa Beach with her husband in 2001. Her working career was spent primarily in the hospitality industry followed by many years as a homemaker. Candi will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving person who was always steadfast in her opinions. Her brothers fondly called her "Bear".

Candi was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Herbert; three of her children, Richard Davis, Jr., Valerie Harris, and Tyrone Davis; and two brothers, Thomas Smith and Martin Smith.

Candi will be sadly missed by her best friend and broken-hearted soulmate of 42 years, Ernie. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Davis and Michael Davis; three brothers, Steven Smith, Dennis Smith, and Mark Smith; two sisters, Lisa Stevens and Kelly Herbert; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Joan Peters.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at St. Rita's Catholic Church; 137 Moll Drive; Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at St. Rita's Catholic Church; 137 Moll Drive; Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459 with Father Michael Hartley officiating.

Burial will follow in Historic Gulf Cemetery.
