Bonnie S. Meyer, age 72, of Freeport, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at her home.

Born November 19, 1951, in Greenfield, TN, the daughter of Jack and Mamie Scates, she grew up and lived most of her childhood in Martin, TN. Ms. Meyer was a graduate of Memphis College of the arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She was also proud to have studied at the University of Mississippi, the University of Tennessee, and the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in New York. Bonnie enjoyed a lifetime of interesting careers from New York City at two well-known casting and talent agencies to the Florida panhandle where she was involved in real estate sales and management. She was proud to have served with several organizations over the years: Coastal Branch Library, Destin Women's Club, Destin Library Guild, Junior Service League, and Sacred Heart Volunteer Guild. To know Bonnie was to love her. She will be remembered for her love of art, the love of her cocker spaniels, and her quirky personality.

Bonnie is survived by her partner, Sarah Ryan, and her cousin, Sharon Johnson of Greenfield, TN.

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Meyer will be held at a later date.
