Mr. Bobby Dwain McMillian, age 86, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He was born on June 13, 1937 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to John William and A.V. Adkison McMillian.

Mr. McMillian was a lifelong resident of Walton County, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He dearly loved his family. He worked as a foreman for the Walton County Road Department. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting.

Mr. McMillian was preceded in death by his father and mother; wife of 48 years Joan McMillian; brothers Thelton Lewis McMillian, Wendell "Jill" McMillian, Carvell AJ McMillian; sisters Helen Adkison, Bettie Kurtz Bunnell; and one grandson AJ Fountain.

Mr. McMillian is survived by his daughter Gwen Harrison of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; two grandchildren Emily Clayton, Robert Clayton; one great-grandchild Bryson Garrett; three brothers Quinn McMillian, Lyvonne McMillian, Phil McMillian; and two sisters Hattie Chapman and Sandra Harper.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church; 1015 Pleasant Ridge Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435; with Reverend Phil McMillian officiating.
