Mrs. Bobbie Thomas (Sharp) Ruth, age 87, passed away on January 25, 2022. She graduated from Chester County High School in west Tennessee and went on to attend and graduate from Saint Thomas School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee. She had a successful career as a Registered Nurse, retiring from V.A. Medical Center in Nashville only to continue her nursing career in the outpatient hemodialysis setting until age 70. She enjoyed her life by spending time with her family and friends, cooking, gardening, listening to Elvis, and watching General Hospital. She also dedicated many years of service to her church family at St. John's United Methodist Church.

She is greatly loved and survived by her son, Andy Sharp (spouse: Juli) and daughter, Sandy Stowers (spouse: Tim), as well as 4 grandchildren: Josh Sharp, Jessica Conradi, Ally Stowers, and Jeanne Sharp along with a great-grandchild: Jason Sharp, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents (Tillman and Jessie Thomas), 3 sisters (Jo Ann Pope, Dot Scott, and Tomi Sue Harrold), her spouse (Harlan Evans Sharp) and son (Chuck Sharp).

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to any of the following charities that were close to her heart, such as St. Jude's Children's Medical Center or Wounded Warriors Project.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
