Obituary

Betty J. Bean, age 86, passed away on October 1, 2022. Her husband, Wendell Bean, preceded her in death as did her parents, Flora and Lucien Delagrave, three sisters, Lillian Turner, Clara Sherwood, and Annette Pittenger, three brothers, John Delagrave, Louie Delagrave, and Henry Delagrave, all of MT.

Her daughter, Lynn Imbrogulio of Maryland and son Michael Bean of Florida survive her as well as sisters: Alyce Erstad, Scobey, MT, Agnes Nelson, Hamilton, MT, Shirley Bilbo, Longview, TX, Dianne Caulkett of Burlington, WA, and Mary Lou (Stu) of Bakersfield, CA. brother Joe of Quincy, WA. Five grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Mrs. Bean was born and raised in Scobey, MT. She spent eight years serving our country in the U.S. Navy. After her Navy days, she worked and retired from the American Red Cross, and spent nine years working at Tri-County Mental Health Children's Services in Lewistown, ME as an Office Manager.

Betty and Wendell relocated from Wales, ME in 1996 to DeFuniak Springs, FL as retirees. As a retiree, she spent 12 years as a volunteer with Healthmark's Blue Angels, serving as President for five of those years.

Memorialization will be by cremation. Internment of ashes will be in Roger's Cemetery in Topsham, ME.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the ASPCA or Walton County Animal Shelter.
