Ben Michael Ferguson, age 55, passed away peacefully December 10, 2020 surrounded by his loving son Clayton and daughter Ashley. He was born June 27, 1965 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania to Robert and Anne Ferguson.

Ben was married to his soulmate Michelle Mahoney Ferguson and made his home in Freeport Florida.

Ben worked as a glazier with his Father Robert Ferguson at Beach Bay Glass and Mirror in Santa Rosa Beach Florida for many years and later continued his career at Guy's Glass and Mirror in Destin Florida where he was known for his creativity and hard work. Ben enjoyed spending time with his wife and his animals, and loved to fish.

Ben is preceded in death by his wife Michelle, and his sister Jamie Anne Peterson.

Ben is survived by his children Ben, Clayton, Ashley and Rebecca, grandchildren Clayton Junior, Annabelle, David, Sierra, Kaylee, Mark, Aubree, Elizabeth and Jayden and his siblings Robert, Mac, David, Jenny, Adam, Paul Ferguson and Julie Rousseau.

No funeral services will be held. Cremation and burial at sea are planned for a later date.

When I die give what's left of me away

to children and old men that wait to die.

And if you need to cry,

cry for your brother walking the street beside you.

And when you need me, put your arms around anyone

and give them what you need to give me.

I want to leave you something,

something better than words or sounds.

Look for me in the people I've known or loved,

and if you cannot give me away,

at least let me live in your eyes and not your mind.

You can love me best by letting hands touch hands,

and by letting go of children that need to be free.

Love doesn't die, people do.

So, when all that's left of me is love,

give me away.
