Mrs. Evelyn Spraggins, age 86, of Freeport, Florida passed away June 29, 2008. She was born February 9, 1922 in Frisco City, Alabama. Mrs. Spraggins had been a resident of Freeport. She was Baptist by faith. She worked as an Editorial Clerk Typist at Eglin Air Force Base for over 20 years before retiring. She received an associate degree in Business. She enjoyed gardening, singing and sewing. Mrs. Spraggins was preceded in death by her parents James I. and Sarah Mattie Harris Rollen, three brother and two sisters. Mrs. Spraggins is survived by her two sons Dr. Kenneth Wayne Spraggins and wife Evelyn of Marietta, Georgia and Walter Craig Spraggins and wife Mary Jo of Freeport, Florida, two grandchildren Kenny Spraggins Jr. and wife Jennifer and Mira Lynn Spraggins, and two great grandchildren Conner and Avery. Memorialization will be by direct cremation.
