Mr. Roger Dale Beaver, age 51, of Freeport, Florida passed away February 14, 2008. He was born April 6, 1956 in Allegan, Michigan to Waldo and Ann Fales Beaver. Roger had been a resident of Freeport, he was Methodist by faith. He worked as a cerpenter for 20 years. He loved racing , working on cars especially restoring his 1979 Corvette. He dearly loved his grandchildren, taking them to all sportiing events. Roger was preceded in death by his parents. Roger is survived by his wife of 22 years Bertha Beaver of Freeport; daughter Kris Lee and husband Derek and son Jeff Causey and wife Amber all of Freeport; two beothers Wally Beaver and wife Ann of Galesburg, Michigan and Kerry Beaver of Freeport, Florida; four sisters Shirrie Jordan and Laurel Yerby both of Freeport, Florida, Nancy Dembo and husband Chuck of South Fulton, Tennessee and Porthia Davis and husband Howard of Mechinicsburg, Ohio; four grandchildren Zackery, Dylan, Emily and Madyson. Visitation services will be conducted at 6:00~8:00 PM, Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 18, 2008 at Black Creek United Methodist Church , with Reverend Lavelle Enterkin officiating. Pallbeaers will be James Leogrande, Kyle Lindass, Kerry Beaver, Lance Helton, David Fannin, Travis, Derek Lee and Roy Houseman. Burial will follow in the Black Creek Cemetery with Military honors Flowers are being accepted or donations my be made to the American Heart Association.
