Mrs. Ruby Jackson Rowe, age 90, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born on February 10, 1925 in Walton County to Hubbard Jackson and Marie Raybourn Jackson. Mrs. Rowe was a lifelong resident of Walton County, Florida. She worked for the Walton County School System as a secretary for many years before retiring. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Mrs. Rowe is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Rowe. Mrs. Rowe is survived by her brother, Rufus Jackson of Pensacola, Florida, sister, Dorothy Sword of Valpariso, Florida, daughters Brenda Paul and husband Waylon of Crestview, Florida, Glenda Griner and husband Randall, Linda Mitchell and husband Keith, all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and Teri Angel and husband Harold of Mountain City, Tennessee. Also survived are seven grandsons, Nyles Jordan. Kendall Griner, Kyle Poole, Ryan Pole, Justin Bishop, Jared Angel, and Jordan Angel. There are seven surviving great-grandchildren. Visitation services will be held 1:30~2:30 PM, Friday, May 1, 2015 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, May 1, 2015 at Magnolia Cemetery, with Dr. Bobby Tucker officiating. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
