On May 1, 2019, Shirley Ann Brown took her last breath on Earth and caught her first glimpse of Heaven at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital surrounded by love. Our loving and devoted sister, aunt and friend, was born in Walton County, Florida on November 19, 1947.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Manuel and Elmer Dickey, her beloved husband Philip Brown, brothers Ralph and Earl Dickey, sisters Ethel and Laura Dickey.

She was the sister to Roy (Kuni) Dickey, Paul Dickey, Francis Harvey, Katherine Cleveland, Ina (John) Marler and Mary Alice Brown.

She was a cherished and treasured true friend to Many, her amazing gift of love for all of us will forever be missed.

She was a devoted member of Freeport Baptist Church. She modeled integrity, honesty and a level of excellence and consistency in whatever she did.

Shirley enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and above all family and the outdoors.

Graveside services will be held at Point Washington Cemetery on Monday,  May 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Brother Robert Samuels officiating.
