York Harold Weant was born in Sale, Victoria Australia on October 7, 1983 to Debbie and Harold Weant. He passed away in Santa Rosa Beach Fl. On August 8, 2024.

He grew up in Andalusia, Alabama. York was a very intelligent student winning the spelling bee for the whole school at Church St. Elementary school. He was a stellar athlete and played baseball from age five through high school at Andalusia High school.

York had a varied career ranging from operating heavy equipment to landscaping. He loved mechanics, gardening and fishing. He sadly had his struggles battling generational addiction. York will always be remembered for his ability to find humor in awkward situations and his outrageous sense of humor. He was loved and will be missed by his mother Debbie Weant, sister Meg Castleberry, brother Ben Weant many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Harold Weant.

A family celebration of life and burial will be at the family farm in FL.
