Mr. Joe Davis, age 67, of Freeport passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. He was born March 25, 1945 in Lockhart, Alabama to Willie and Kathleen Martin Davis. Mr. Davis was a resident of Freeport. He was Pentecostal by faith and a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church of Pensacola. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving his country in the United States Army. He worked in maintenance at One Seagrove Place for several years. He enjoyed fishing, and watching television. He also enjoyed his pit bulldog Blue. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Sara Ann Ficklin and two brothers Willie Don Davis and Larry Davis. Mr. Davis is survived by his loving wife Shirley Mann of Freeport; one daughter Jodi Ann Davis of Pensacola; one brother Willie Royce Davis and wife Betty of Birmingham, Alabama and two grandchildren. A time of Visitation will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20; Freeport, Florida 32439. Graveside services will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers family request donations may be made to the Fallen Veterans Memorial in Freeport at P.O.
