Mr. William Earl Drake, age 77, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023. He was born on December 10, 1945 in Tampa, Florida to Willie Lee Drake and Sarah Frances Crews Drake.

Mr. Drake was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He worked as an electrician for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he loved raising animals. He was an avid gardener. He also loved working in his sawmill, and he enjoyed his tractor.

Mr. Drake was preceded in death by his father, Willie Lee Drake, infant brother, David Drake, brothers, Charles Eugene Drake and James Curtis Drake and sister Carrie Jannette Bryan.

Mr. Drake is survived by his mother, Sarah " Frankie" Campbell; loving wife of 55 years; Shirley Ann Adkinson Drake; daughter, Belinda Barto and husband Randy; grandchildren, Courtney Beagle and husband Josh, and Brittany Barto; great-grandchildren, Adah, Ciara, Charlie, Daisy and Hayes all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; brother, Willard Drake; sisters, Irene McKee and husband Gerald of Liberty, Florida, Eileen Stanley and husband John of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Betty Hayes of Eufaula, Alabama and Nora Drake of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Also survived by a host of numerous nephews and nieces.
