Mr. Wilford Carroll, age 77 , passed away Friday, January 17, 2025.  He was born August 20, 1947 in Leonia, Florida to Willis and Sarah Harrison Carroll.

Mr. Carroll was a lifelong resident of the Leonia community. He was Baptist by faith and a member of the Leonia Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family. He worked as a master logger for 55 years, having worked for himself owning and operating North Florida Timber, Inc. His logging career was recognized by the Florida Forestry Association. Being honored for his many years of logging. He was a very talented singer and musician. He enjoyed going to Blue Grass Festivals. He also had made his own professional music CD, title "Long Time Working It Out." He also enjoyed taking care of his donkeys and cows.

Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Carroll, son, Melvin Carroll, brothers, Willard Carroll, Wilburn Carroll and Glen Carroll and parents, Willis and Sarah Carroll.

Mr. Carroll is survived by his loving wife  Teresa Carroll of Leonia, Florida; daughters, Tammy Harrison and Margie Butts both of Leonia, Florida;  daughter, Jonie Simmons and husband Frank of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; sons Shawn Williams and wife Alicia of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Vern Carroll and wife Athena of Leonia, Florida ; grandchildren; Lee Harrison, Tristen Harrison, Austin Butts, Jacob Butts, Ragan Butts, Blake Butts, Sarah Butts, Cody Slay, Sierra Thompson, Allyson Kitlzer, Hailey Robson, October Wright, Bear Wright, Ronald Wright, Vernon Carroll, Kaylee Donaldson, Shelby Donaldson and Frank Simmons, III; great grandchildren, Lilly Harrison, Danny Harrison, Magnolia  Butts and Cecil Butts.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, January 23, 2025 at  his residence; 1937 Wilford Lane, Ponce DeLeon, Florida 32455, also a time of visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at Leonia Baptist Church; 1124 Gillman Road, Westville, Florida 32464.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at Leonia Baptist Church; 1124 Gillman Rd, Westville, FL 32464,  with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Pallbearers will be Adam Carroll, Eric Scott, Daren Donaldson, Richard Carroll, Larry Anderson, Shawn Carroll and Frank Simmons.

Burial will be held at Leonia Cemetery.
