Obituary

Wendy Laura Clark—affectionately known as "Wendy Lou" and the absolute favorite "Grammy"—passed away on May 13, 2026, in Fountain, Bay County, Florida.

Wendy spent her childhood growing up in Hawley, Massachusetts, before making the move to Freeport, Florida, as a young adult. It was there that she truly found her footing, planting deep roots, finding her lifelong best friends, and starting the family that would become her entire world.

By trade, Wendy was a talented painter, but at her core, she was always a flower child. She possessed a vibrant, free spirit and a remarkable green thumb, finding endless joy in her love of plants and the simple, beautiful things in life—whether it was her essential oils, her crystals, or a collection of pretty rocks. She had a creative soul and was happiest when she was crafting or coloring side-by-side with her cherished grandbabies. To put it simply: Momma was a ROCKSTAR. She lived life with a unique rhythm, an open heart, and a fierce love for her people.

Wendy was reunited in death with her beloved mother and father, Ruth and Floyd Clark.

Her radiant legacy lives on through the family she adored. She leaves behind her son, Zachary Morin, and his children, her precious grands: Jax, Madaleine, Margaret, and Dexter. She leaves behind her daughter, Victoria Miller, and son-in-law, Nick Miller, along with their children, her precious grands: Dausynn, Astoria, and Linda. She also leaves behind Billy Duncan. Though never married, they shared a deep, lifelong love, and he was undeniably her absolute favorite person to argue with.

To honor a life so beautifully lived, a Celebration of Life will be held at Wendy’s favorite spot, Lake Jackson. The family will share the specific date and time via social media once those details are finalized.
