Ms. Wanda Lee Edwards, age 77, passed away Monday, March, 30, 2026. She was born on December 22, 1948 in Oakland, California to Miles Benton Karpe and Betty Jean Steele Karpe.

Ms. Wanda was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was Christian by faith and a member of Liberty Assembly of God. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier for 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family. She also loved sewing, painting and growing flowers.

Ms. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Nathan Wederski and Jerry Edwards; brothers, Buddy Karpe and Kenneth Karpe; granddaughter, Kaylee Schipper and great granddaughter, Jayden Alford.

Ms. Wanda is survived by her children Tonia Schipper (David), Natalie Sheets (Ben) and Donna Free (Greg); grandchildren, Devin Schipper (Krystal), Corey Schipper, Amber Schipper, Nathan Schipper (Morgan), Levi Schipper (Candace), Cheyenne Brooks (Khalil), Derek Schipper (Giselle), Isaac Schipper, Elizabeth Schipper, Madisyn Schipper, Blake Schipper, Jeremiah Schipper, Jonathan Schipper, Jazmine Schipper, Brayden Schipper, Kaycee Herndon, Kale Herndon, Kaytee Herndon, Kase Herndon, Kenslee Herndon, Kenndal Bradley, Lane Free and Sydni Free; great grandchildren, Abbie, Rhyland, Landon, Zayden, Kindalyn, Gage, Luke, Owen, Skylar, Camden, Arahbella, Layton, Scarlette, Sutton, Khamil, Cheyleigh, Carrie, Delilah, Marleigh, Locklyn, Samson and Jude and her sister, Myra Miller (Joey).

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lane Free, Corey Schipper, Nathan Schipper, Levi Schipper, Kale Herndon and Derek Schipper.

Burial will be held at Alaqua Methodist Church Cemetery.
