Mrs. Voncile Smith Roland was welcomed by Jesus April 20, 2024, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Voncile was the baby of 8 children, her nickname was Cotton Top due to her white blonde hair. She was raised in Chipley, Florida.

Voncile along with Gerald Roland raised their two daughters in Lynn Haven, Florida for 25 years where she worked at Sears and retired after 10 years. She later owned her own cleaning business, Just-Inland of 30A, which she was extremely proud of. She was a devoted mother and a very hard worker for the past 17 years.

Mrs. Roland was preceded in death by her mother Pansy Urshery Smith and father George Smith; the father of her children Gerald Roland; 7 siblings and her companion and friend of 17 years "Oreo."

Mrs. Roland leave behind two daughters, Ronda (Jamie) Holley and Shanon Roland Fonda; special sister/friend Helen Roland Hutchinson; grandchildren, Justin (Pam) Maynor, Kori (Chris) Paris, Wyatt (Jenny) Holley, Landon (Victoria) Fonda and Luke (Haley) Fonda; great grandchildren, Malachi Maynor, Lilly Belle Paris, Ridge Holley, Presley Maynor, Harper Holley, Kollyn Fonda and Bowen Fonda. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Receiving of Friends will be held from 10:00 - 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 5422 Strickland Road Ebro, Florida 32437.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 5422 Strickland Road Ebro, Florida 32437; hosted by The Paris family.

Plants are being accepted.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie Holley, Justin Maynor, Wyatt Holley, Landon Fonda, Luke Fonda and Chris Paris.
