Mr. Vaughn Alessio, 72, of Freeport, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 14, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 23, 1951, in Franklin, New Jersey.

Vaughn was preceded in death by parents Vivian (nee Carota) and Vincent Alessio; and one brother-in-law Thomas Cella.

Vaughn will be greatly missed by his devoted wife, Carol Alessio, of 41 years. He will be deeply missed by his children, Erinn Ladouceur (Marcel), Thomas Alessio (Kristen), Karen Story (Nich), Joseph Alessio (Sarah), and Michelle Alessio (Tawa Flancher). Cherished Papa of Sadie Bearden, Noah Wensel, Chace Ladouceur, Rosaleigh Ladouceur, Luke & Owen Schipper, Bradley Ladouceur, Kaitlyn Alessio and Lena & Emma Alessio. Vaughn also leaves behind one brother, Vincent Alessio; one loving sister, Vickilynne DiBella; one brother-in-law, Roy Cella; and one sister-in-law Laura Katona.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in the coming days.
