Mr. Vance Edward Nash, age 60, was born on September 11, 1961 in Savannah, Georgia to Henry E. Nash and Dorothy Hamm Nash. Mr. Nash went to his Heavenly home Saturday, January 8, 2022, to be reunited with his loving wife Candus just in time for their36th wedding anniversary.

Vance worked many years for the City of Valpariso before he medically retired in 2000. Prior to this he worked many odds jobs from brick masonry to truck driving.  Mr. Nash enjoyed sitting around the table with family playing rummy or Uno for hours. He also enjoyed yard work and helping others with their yards. Vance was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers, Greg and Stewart.

Vance is survived by his two daughters, Leola  Amber Mixon and husband Kory and Vanesa Nash; two sisters, Ann Snowden and husband Rick and Patricia Cuchens and husband Timothy, one brother, Grady Nash, he is also survived by one special sister-in-law who was more like a sister, Karen Dzul. Vance will be remembered by all who knew him as a hard- working man who loved his girls.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend David King and Jason Campbell officiating.

Flowers will be accepted. Burial will be held at Black Creek Cemetery.
