Tony (Dickie) Jones, 73, of Ponce De Leon, FL, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026. He was born on October 21, 1953, in DeFuniak Springs, FL, to William (Bill) and Abbie Lou Jones.

He was an eclectic soul, guided not by trends or expectations, but by the steady beat of his own drum. He saw the world through an artist’s eyes, creating beauty out of anything he touched. His originality and imagination were limitless, and he left traces of his creativity everywhere he went.

Dickie is survived by his sister, Gail Lowery of Geneva, AL; his brother, Chuck Jones (Kim), of DeFuniak Springs; his nieces and nephews: Marc Jones, Terra Free (Jeremy), Josh Jones (Krysten), Jesse Jones (Tiffany), Aaron Crudele, Trent Jones, and great nieces and nephews: Tyler Carroll, Hagen Pollard, Kenadee Mutrullo, Brystol Free, Alex Jones, Eli Jones, and Liam Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Abbie Lou Jones; his brother, Ronnie Jones; and his nieces and nephews: Tom Jones, Skye Geiger, Andi Brackin, and Tanner Jones.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a date to be announced.
