William Costello Castiglione

Mr. Thomas "Tom" William Costello Castiglione, age 75, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born on August 19, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut to Albert Castiglione and Katharine Norfolk.
Mr. Castiglione was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Tom served in the United States Navy for six years during the Vietnam War Era and was medically discharged in 1969 as an E5 Radioman 2 nd class with Top Secret Clearance. After the military he continued his dedication to public service. In 1980 he joined the DeFuniak Springs Fire Department and worked with the department for nine years, becoming Captain. He left the Fire Service to serve in ministry as a youth pastor, Pastor, and Evangelist for thirty-five years. He also served as a Walton County dispatcher and a Battalion/Training Chief of Argyle Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Castiglione was preceded in death by his father, mother, and stepfather Clifford Mott.
Mr. Castiglione is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy Rice Castiglione; children Tony Costello (Debbie), John Eric Costello (Aimee), Paul Castiglione (Karen), and Timothy Castiglione (Brandi); grandchildren Sol, Luc, Giavani, Connor, Jillian, Jaden, and Cruz; his sister Barbara Griffin; special nieces Tonya, Tina, and Tara; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Tom's life, a time of visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Flowers will be accepted.
