Mr. Thomas Julian (Buddy) Odom, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 9, 1936 in Red Bay, Florida to I.E. (Buster) and Gladys Odom.

Mr. Odom served his country for nine years with the U.S. Army National Guard and for years with the Walton County Sheriff's Department. His love for the outdoors included camping and fishing. His Forever Friends Camping Club was honored that he was their "Wagon Master" and will be truly missed.

Mr. Odom was preceded in death by his father and mother; sister Bonnie Cornman; and brother Durl Odom.

Mr. Odom is survived by his wife Cathy Odom; daughter Wanda Bork (Tim); sons Marvin Odom (Linda), Dean Odom (Cheryl); step-son JP O'Connell (Natasha); eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church of DeFuniak Springs.
