Ms. Terra Lynn Turner, age 48, passed away August 18, 2023. She was born on April 15, 1975 in Polk County, Florida to Jim Franklin Matthews and Pamela Ann Miller Hanks.

Ms. Turner was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She graduated from Walton High School in 1992. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, her happiest times were spent when she was with them. She always enjoyed helping others in need.

Ms. Turner was preceded in death by her mother Pamela Ann Hanks and husband Tim Turner.

Ms. Turner is survived by her father Jim Matthews and step-mom Elaine Matthews of DeFuniak Springs; son Justin Turner of Freeport, Florida; three grandchildren Lucas Turner, Bentley Turner, Kenna Turner; one brother James Matthews of Wisconsin; nephews Keelan Tyson, Keetan Tyson, Travis Tyson; niece Alaina Tyson; and special family members Sue and Louis Redmon, Amanda and Craig English, Fannie and Nick Emanuel all of DeFuniak Springs and Tommy and Cissy Matthews of Winter Haven, Florida.

Special thanks to Melissa, Bridget, Michelle and Dana of Emerald Coast Hospice Care and to step-mom, Elaine, who worked tirelessly to ensure Terra had the best care and support possible and to Sue and Louis Redmon and Amanda and Craig English for all the help and support that they gave.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Magnolia Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs, Florida with Reverends Walter Ales and Don McManus officiating
