Tanya Lynn Floyd (maiden Croxton), born on Feb. 18, 1963, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly in late October in DeFuniak Springs, Fla. She was 62 years old.

Tanya was the beloved daughter of Glenda Hudson Ward and the late Larry Lee Croxton. Her life was deeply rooted in the warmth of family and the beauty of nature. She found joy in the companionship of animals and had a special love for her horses. An adventurous spirit, Tanya also cherished scuba diving and the serenity it brought her beneath the waves.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Ryan White and his wife Haley; her cherished grandchildren, Riley, Kaiden and Brinley; her sister Paula Cantrell; and her niece Hudson Natalya Durrett. Tanya's memory will also live on in the hearts of her many family members and close friends who shared in her life's journey.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Nov. 8, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Center Ridge Methodist Church, 1861 Co Hwy 1883, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433.
