Mrs. Shirley Ann (Godwin) Wright, age 72, passed away December 21, 2023.  She was born on March 28, 1951 to Clifford and Kath'e (Mueller) Godwin

Shirley was born and raised in Freeport, Florida where she lived her entire life. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the Ebro Baptist Church.

Shirley had a hard life, but also a life filled with lots of love, family and friends. She loved to reminisce about her younger days and growing up with her two brothers, Billy and Johnny, who she missed greatly. During the last years of Shirley's life her favorite times were spent at church and with her great- granddaughter.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clifford and Kath'e Godwin; two brothers, Billy and Johnny Godwin; a daughter, Theresa Dixon and two grandchildren Rachel and Jacob Dixon.

Shirley is survived by three children Sandy Tuggle and husband Larry, Tony Dixon and Meggan Wright; five grandchildren, Kath'e, Garry, Samantha Tuggle, Kali Anderson and Layla McClellan; one great-grandchild, Bailey Dixon; one bonus granddaughter, Haven Linton and husband Jonathan; two bonus great-grandchildren, Jettsyn and Lula Jo Linton and many other friends and family.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Ebro Baptist Church; 5360 Casey Rd, Ebro, FL 32437

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Ebro Baptist Church; with Brother "B" Biagio Longo officiating.

In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to The Ebro Baptist Church Building fund as she served as a passionate committee member. Donations may be mailed or donated directly at the time of service; 5360 Casey Rd, Ebro, FL 32437.
