Mrs. Shirley Ann Hale Broxson, age 78, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024.  She was born September 4, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mrs. Broxson was a resident of Walton County. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid traveler, having visited Israel fourteen times.

Mrs.  Broxson was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow W. Hale; brothers-in-law, Joseph C Broxson and William T. Broxson and mother-in-law, Willie C. Broxson,

Mrs.  Broxson is survived by her husband, John Malcolm Broxson, Sr.; children, Katie Leann Powell and husband Buddy and John Malcolm Broxson, Jr. and wife Crystal; grandchildren, John Charles Powell and Michaela Nicole Broxson; sisters, Pat Fulton, Sandra Caprara and husband Joseph, and Kathy Broxson and nieces and nephews, Michael Renfroe, Wylene Oglesby, Mary Renfroe and Wesley Broxson.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 17, 2024 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery; with Brother Buddy Powell officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
