Mrs. Sheila R Foster of Freeport, Florida left this world March 6, 2024 peacefully in her bed from a sudden Aneurysm. Born in Long Beach, California June 16, 1961. The daughter of Raymond L. Foster and Willa E. (Mott)Foster. She grew up in Long Beach, California until she was 10 when she traveled the country with her family. Where the eventually settled in Pheonix, Arizona. She became a young mother and at that time dedicated her life to being the best mother she could be. After 9 years she followed her mother and sister to Bay County and lived in Bayou George, Florida. She then worked as a Galley Chef at The Naval Support Activity Base in Panama City, Florida where she was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation for her outstanding service and performance. She was also a full-time caregiver to her mother, brother and sister. She had a passion for baking and cooking for her numerous family member and friends. She was known for providing and full spread of everyone favorite dishes. She retired in 2011 and spent the last years of her life being a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and Aunt Sheila. Sheila's free loving and stubborn spirit lives on through her son Michael R. Foster, grandson Bentley Eli McCall Morse, sister Sandy L. Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Grace Presbyterian Church: 1415 Airport Road, Panama City, Florida 32405; with Reverend officiating.
