Obituary

Ms. Sharon  K. Schindler, age 75, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026. She was born on August 13, 1950 in Winchester, Indiana.

Ms. Schindler was a resident of Bonifay, Florida. Sharon ( Mamaw to her family) was a wild spitfire, very much loved her family. She will always be known for being very headstrong and independent. Back in the day you could find her at the casinos playing with the slot machines or enjoying listening to Elvis Presley records.

Ms.  Schindler was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Younger and Ruby McMurray; her eldest son, Ronnie Lambdin-Garza, father of her children, Guadalupe Garza-Lopes, and her brother, Ronnie and George Younger.

Ms. Schindler is survived by her children, Anna Godwin and husband Billy of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; Joseph Garza and wife Leann Moch of Destin, Florida and Pete Schindler-Garza and wife Caroline of Orlando, Florida, grandchildren, Brandon Johnson Garza of Pensacola, Florida, Krystyna St. Pierre and significant other Nick Hopkins, Kevyn St. Pierre and Blake Godwin and significant other Rachel Heermance all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Christian Garza and wife Lexus of Albuquerque, New  Mexico, Yuri Hollinger and twins Cole and Nathaniel Hollinger all  of Camphill, Pennsylvania, Clarise Barretto and  husband Michael of Orlando, Florida sister, Carol Younger; nieces Sandra and  Brenda  of Winchester, Indiana; great grandchildren,  Asheton O'Neal of Ponce DeLeon, Florida and Bostyn Hopkins of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
