Ms. Sara Burris, age 88 , passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1937, in Nutbush, Tennessee to Claude Thomas Baggett Sr. and Fannie May Hollingshead Baggett

Ms. Burris was a resident of Freeport, Florida. She attended Haywood County High School and was class of 1955. She was a loving follower of her Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, cards, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Burris is preceded in death by her six Brothers; J.T., Willie, Claude Jr., Haskle, James and George.

Ms. Burris is survived by her son Mike (Amy), Grandchildren; Jonathan (Chelsea), Adam, Sara (Jon), TJ (Anna) and 10 Great Grandchildren, extended family members and Al, who she loved very much.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
