Sandra Faye Burgess, 77, of Geneva, Alabama, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, at 1:45 PM at Chautauqua Rehabilitation Facility.

Sandra was born to Willie Earl Cantor and Zadie Christine Cantor. She was a devoted Christian who loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, who brought tremendous joy to her life.

Sandra enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life. She loved painting and woodworking and had a passion for fishing. In her younger years, she participated in the Spurs organization and enjoyed showing horses. She had a creative spirit, a strong will, and a caring heart that touched those around her.

She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Faye Burgess and Jennifer Dawn Burgess; her grandchildren, Jonathan Drake Burgess and Maubee Alexander Shultz; and her siblings, Diana Newsome and Eddie Cantor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Earl Cantor and Zadie Christine Cantor.

Services for Sandra Faye Burgess will be announced at a later date.
