Mr. Roy Allen Cuchens, 64, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022. He was born on October 7, 1957 in Valparaiso, Florida to Roy Emory Cuchens and Jewel Marie Kelley Cuchens.

Mr. Cuchens was a resident of Choctaw Beach, Florida. He was a Christian by faith and a devoted husband. He graduated from Niceville High School in 1975. He worked as a sales associate with Walmart for many years. He also worked as a chemist. He was certified in HAZMAT training, and a Merchant Marine with Apex.

Mr. Cuchens was preceded in death by his father and mother and two brothers, Kenton E. Cuchens and Randolph "Goose" Cuchens.

Mr. Cuchens is survived by his wife of twenty years, Christine R. Cuchens of Choctaw Beach, Florida; one son, Brandon Sadler and wife Christy of Niceville, Florida; grandsons Connor Sadler and Evin Sadler; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Richard Strickland, Jerry Zeidner, and Billy Bingham, Trent Nunery, Mike Tetzlaff, and Bob Dolittle.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home Chapel; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Anthony Cuchens officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Zeidner, Bill Bingham, Terry Kelly, Richard Strickland, Daniel Richards, and Mike Tetzlaff.

Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made for the care of Roy's horses- Sage, Tonka and BayLeigh.

Interment will follow in Hatcher Cemetery.
