Mr. Rod Roy Currington, age 65, passed away, March 22, 2022. He was born on August 4, 1956 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Walker Currington and Berlie Rushing Currington.

Mr. Currington was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He worked in the Tug Boat Industry for many years, he also worked in Tree Trimming. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Mr. Currington was preceded in death by his mother and father Walker Currington and Berlie Rushing Currington, granddaughter Rainna Roberts, grandson Johnny Kirk, two sisters Argie Lee Griswall and Margaret Ann Currington and two brothers William Alvie Currington and Wash Junior Currington.

Mr. Currington is survived by his children Sam Currington, Joe Currington and wife Peggy of Westville, Florida, Rodney Currington of Westville, Florida and Treanna Currington of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; grandchildren Michael Currington, Ryan Currington, Mason Currington, Makenna Currington, Brysyn Roberts, Andréya Roberts, and Kadrian Roberts; one brother Charles Currington of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; one sister Minnie Cawthon and one great grandchild Cannon Kirk/Jones.

A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-5:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM, Monday, March 28, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Derek Glenn officiating.
