Mr. Robert Frank Meeks, age 90, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020. He was born in Opp, Alabama and later moved to Niceville, Florida where he and his wife, Mildred, raised 11 children. Mr. Meeks was a frame carpenter and built numerous homes in Niceville and the surrounding areas. Mr. Meeks was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Meeks, and children, Earl Meeks, Patricia Pinkman and John Meeks. Mr. Meeks is survived by his children, (Bobby) Bill Meeks of Niceville, FL, Betty Ellis of Niceville, FL, Jerry Wayne Meeks of Ponce De Leon, FL, David (Crocket) Meeks of Mossy Head, FL, Billy Joe (Jody) Meeks of Crestview, FL, James  (Mikey) Meeks of Niceville, FL, Mary (Sissy) White of Ponce De Leon, FL, and Linda (Katie) Brown of Freeport, FL; his sister, Mary Nelson of Crestview, FL; 49 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Monday, July 6, 2020 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 6, 2020 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in the Early Cemetery in Niceville, Florida, with military honors by the  United States Army.
