David Pouliot
March 3, 1957 – January 23, 2026
Mr. Robert David Pouliot was born on March 3, 1957, and passed away from this life at home on January 23, 2026, at the age of 68 after a brief illness. Bob was a loving, caring, and attentive husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. His presence and personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a captain after 20 years of dedicated service to his country. As a man of deep character and determination, he continued his education during his military career, earing his Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude), and Juris Doctorate. After retiring from the military, he continued his career in the private sector where he thrived in several positions as CFO. Director of Operations, Maryland Attorney and owning his own business. He also lived a life of service to his community by volunteering through church and other organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity.
Bob lived a life centered around faith, family and love for his country. He was a devoted member of Hope on the Beach Church in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, where he found strength and a sense of community through fellowship. Bob also had a lifelong love of music, singing, and his voice and joyful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who shared in those moments with him. He never turned down a fishing adventure or good round of golf. With Bob's competitive nature he had a love for pickleball and the pickleball community.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Normand Pouliot; his aunt, Jeanne Hawn; and his beloved son, Michael Pouliot.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Michele Pouliot; his mother, Pauline Pouliot; his children and their spouses, David Pouliot, Jerret Wilder and his wife Lizzy, Megan Pouliot, and Tristan Pouliot and his wife Pamela. He is also survived by his siblings Joanne Piecka, Norma Wright, and Dennis Pouliot; his beloved grandchildren Moses, Noah, Rosie, Bella and Peyton, and many nieces and nephews who brought his great joy.
A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Hope on the Beach Church; 3834 US-98, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459, with Pastor Jason Scheler officiating.
Graveside service will be held 11:30 AM, Friday, May 1, 2026 at Barrancas National Cemetery with Military Honors by the United States Air Force.
