Obituary

Mr. Ricky Lamar Hall, age 74, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024. He was born October 3, 1949, in  Andalusia, Alabama to W.G. Hall and Nettie Marie Blackwell Hall.

Mr.  Hall was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of Liberty, where he served as a Deacon for over 27 years  and was Sunday School Superintendent. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces  serving  his country in the Unites Sates  Navy as a Tech Sergeant E-6 and also Army National Guard and Air Force Resources and Navy Reserves. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He served as President of the DeFuniak Springs Little League for over 20 years. He also announced Walton High School Football games known as "Tricky Ricky".

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Frank Mitchell.

He is survived by  his loving  wife of 49  years, Brenda Sue Hall of DeFuniak Springs; three sons, Jason Hall and wife Crystal of  Glendale, Florida, Eric Hall and wife Kim of  Centerville, Ohio and Clay Hall and wife Shalene of New Harmony, Florida; grandchildren, Lexi Hall, Gavin Hall, Austin Hall, Brayden Hall, Jackson Hall and Kyler Hall; one brother Randy Hall and wife Susan and sister Vicky  Mitchell of New Harmony, Florida. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 23, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435 with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.
