Mr. Richard Edward Green, age 74, passed away on July 25, 2026. He was born on July 28, 1951, in Niceville, Florida, to Thomas Edward Green and Alice Marie Linton Green.

Mr. Green was a resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida. He was a Veteran of the Armed Forces, having served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He worked as a school teacher, teaching English overseas. He enjoyed spending time on the computer, playing his guitar, and cooking.

Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edward Green and Alice Marie Linton Green, and his sister, Patricia Ann Wilson.

Mr. Green is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Grace Green; his son, Richard Edward Green II and his fiancé Anna Lee Robertson; his daughter, Ashley Meagan Marie Green; grandchildren, Mackynzee Marie Green, Richard Edward Green III, Jason Windham Green and Eliana Ann Marie Bartlett; and one brother, James Green and his wife Dawn.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at New Ponce de Leon Cemetery.
