Mr. Richard Milton Best, age 67, passed away August 2, 2024.  He was born on October 27, 1956 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Horace Newton Best and Trudy Elizabeth Lawrence Best.

Mr. Best was a resident of Freeport, Florida. He was a devoted father, grandfather and brother. He enjoyed fishing. He worked as a Carpenter for many years.

Mr. Best was preceded in death by mother and father; brothers, H.B. Best and Joseph Leonard Best and sisters, MelRose Best Brown and Myrtle Lee Brown.

Mr. Best is survived by 3 children Joshua Best, Jeremiah Richard Best and Brooke E. Best; grandchild, Skye Royalty Dixon and brother, Roy Lee Best.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Magnolia Cemetery; 222 North Park Street, DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery.
