Mrs. Rena Dale Poston, embraced by her husband and sisters, died April 22, 2022, she was 62. Born to Marilyn (Alford) Bugbee at Eglin Air Force Base. Rena spent her very early years in Vermont, though she never returned she had fond memories of her life there, before returning to Niceville.

In November 1978 Rena met and married Warren Poston in Niceville and together raised one son Jeb. She took to the life of an Air Force wife and went with Warren to many different bases easily making many friends along the way. Rena was known for her laughter and to a select few her practical jokes. She expressed her creativeness through paintings, drawings, sewing and other crafts.

Rena was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn and by her sister Constance Bugbee, brothers Ronnie Bugbee and Patrick Grems. She is survived by her husband Warren and son Jeb, brother Richard Brown, sisters Rita Harrington and Relina (Hermi) Gist, one aunt Olga Alford, her cousin Thelma Hicks and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 -8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Home Chapel; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Hatcher Cemetery; Hatcher Cemetery Road, Freeport, Florida 32439, with Reverend Doyle Alford officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice.
