December 9, 1944 – April 29, 2022
Mrs. Phyllis Jane Campbell Seigler, age 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family on, Friday, April 29, 2022. She was born December 9, 1944 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Samuel D. and Martha Loyce Lindsey Campbell.
Mrs. Seigler was a resident of Walton County, Florida. She was Baptist by faith and a member of DeFuniak Springs First Baptist Church. She also held much love and appreciation for her upbringing at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church in Eucheeanna, Florida. She worked at Creel Ford Company for many years before transitioning with joy into motherhood. Years later, she reentered the workforce as a Paraprofessional at Maude Saunders Elementary until retirement. Phyllis thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family as well as reminiscing about early life in Eucheeanna.
Mrs. Seigler is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Patricia Campbell, one brother-in-law, Alf Greene and the love of her life, her wonderful husband of 52 years, Robert Seigler.
Mrs. Seigler is survived by one son, Lyle Seigler and wife Shannon of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; granddaughters, Skylar McLean Green and husband Michael of DeFuniak Springs, and Taylor Lyle Sellers and husband Zachary of Bonifay, Florida; one great grandson, Winston Forrest Green; and brother, Dewitt Campbell and nephew Chris Campbell both of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; two sister-in-laws, Betty Alford of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and Geanette Greene of Iron City, Georgia.
A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church; 5551 County Highway 183 South, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435, with Pastor Rob Longmire and Pastor Joel Glenn officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ron Pugh, Mark Weeks, Shane Supple, Peck Cawthon, Justin Johnson, and David Green.
Burial will follow at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to the Walton County Gideon Camp at P.O. Box 925, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
