Peggy Joyce Miller, age 76, of Liberty, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on  February 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.  Peggy was born on April 26, 1949, at home in Liberty, Florida to the late Howard Alto and Eva Poole Jones. Raised in a hardworking farming family, she was the youngest of nine siblings. She attended Liberty school through the ninth grade where she was an award-winning basketball player and later graduated from Walton High School in May, 1967 as a member of the chorus. Shortly after graduation, Peggy married her high school sweetheart, Terry James Miller, on October 7, 1967 at Cluster Springs Baptist Church. Peggy was a hard-working, devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Peggy worked for over 17 years as a medical records technician at the COPE Center. She was an active member of her church, and on Sunday mornings, her beautiful voice could be heard singing in the choir. She led an adventurous life, making many great memories traveling with her husband, family, and friends to places such as the Grand Canyon, Alaska, Italy, and the Bahamas. Peggy had a gift for making things beautiful, whether it was through her sewing and crafts inside the home, or through the care she poured into her garden outside. Her love could be seen in every flower she grew, every cat she adored, and every farm animal she lovingly cared for. No matter how busy life became, Peggy's greatest work was always her family. She was a devoted mother who worked endlessly to provide, nurture, and raise her children with love.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her devoted husband; her three daughters: Tracy Joyce Newborn and husband Michael, Peggy Beth ThepchanTee and husband Kraidaen (Dang), and Tara Denise Hicks and husband Ronald; her grandchildren Bridget, Maegan, Kaleb, Hannah, Gillian, Levi, Morgan, Travis, and Landon; her great-grandchildren Cristalin, Cassidy, Colton, Brayden, Jaxon, Brynlee, Everett, Rowan, and Isaac; and her sisters Carolyn Rutherford and Janice McKee and husband Billy.

A visitation time will be held 10:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate the life of Peggy Joyce Miller will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Pastor George Chestnut officiating.

Pallbearers will be Robert Fondren, Danny Bell, Bobby Bell, John Grice, Travis Hicks, Landon Hicks, Levi ThepchanTee and Kaleb Newborn.

Burial will be held at Cluster Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Liberty, Florida.
