Mrs. Pauline Esther Green, age 96, passed away February 17, 2026. She was born on November 29, 1929 to Robert Mertz and Agnes Mertz.

Mrs. Green was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was Lutheran by faith and member of Zion Lutheran Church in Packerton, Pennsylvania. She was also a member of AMVETS, American Legion and the Moose Club in Pennsylvania. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as a nurse, Telephone Operator and worked with Civil Service. She also worked with public housing and was a member of Beaufort South Carolina Kennel Club.

Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Howard Green and one son, Allen Green.

Mrs. Green is survived by two children, Vicki Allen and Patricia Jenks (Timothy); grandchildren, Dale Allen, Jr, Amber Allen, Timothy Jenks, Andrew Jenks, Sherry Jenks (Robert Donaldson); great grandchildren, Lilia, Oliver, Aliyah, Dalyn, Ameri, Jordyn and John and one sister, Barbara Ann Leickel.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
