Mr. Oscar Perez III, age 67, of Miramar Beach, Florida, passed away at 5:25 PM on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loved ones, after a short illness.

Born August 1, 1953, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the son of Oscar Perez, Jr. and Wilhelmina Casiano Perez, Oscar joined the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC), and upon graduation from Villanova University in 1975, he took his place in the United States Navy as an officer and obtained a Master's in Biology from Tulane University, where he also taught. During his eight years in the Navy, Oscar traveled the world, commanded men, drove an aircraft carrier and flew planes. Oscar was stationed in Pensacola in 1975-1976, where he met the love of his life, Sue Thompson; they were married eight months later. After the Navy, Oscar enjoyed a successful career with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for over thirty years, affording him and his family the opportunity to move across the country and ultimately to Brussels, Belgium. Reaching the status of Vice President of Consumer Healthcare, he retired in 2014 as a member of the Pfizer Global Supply Executive Leadership Team. In Oscar's seven years of retirement, he loved racing Porsches with his track buddies, watching Formula 1, playing with his grandbabies, and traveling with his wife.

Oscar is survived by his wife Sue Perez, and daughters Christina Price and husband Richard Price of Algonquin, IL; Cari Hallman and husband Mike Hallman of Plano, TX; and four beautiful grandchildren, Jack Price, Holly Price, Nina Price, and Clark Hallman. His brother Emmanuel Perez and sister-in-law Stephanie also survive him, including their children Katherine Perez, Sarah Perez and Michael Perez, and uncle, Dr. Emmanuel Casiano. Oscar joins his late parents Wilhelmina Casiano Perez and Oscar Perez, Jr., and his cousin Luis Ramirez.
