Obituary

Norman Patrick Robinson III, age 16, passed away December 1, 2025. He was born on March 11, 2009 in Panama City, Florida to Norman Patrick Robinson, Jr and Somer Sheffield Pickard.

Patrick was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, He was a student at the Wise Center in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He loved to mop floors. He also loved basketball, baseball and working puzzles. Patrick faced numerous challenges and even with the pain that he went through he was still filled with so much life and energy. He never met a stranger and to know Patrick was to know love.  He had this charismatic energy about him that would draw anyone and everyone in. His smile, his energy, his excitement over the little things were so contagious he could turn anyone's day around. Anyone who knew Patrick knew he was obsessed with a mop and a bucket. This obsession started at a very young age and it never changed.  He owned 4 industrial buckets of different colors (2 yellow, a blue, and a green) and his wish list included other colors that he didn't have yet.  Anytime we were out and about if he saw a mop and bucket, he would beeline for it. He always wanted to help no matter what. In school this was how they sometimes got him to do his work or to eat. Rewarding him with mopping a bathroom or the lunch room. The smile on his face when he got to mop could brighten an entire room and you yourself couldn't help but smile with him.  Basketball came in a close second to his mop and bucket. The pure joy on his face when he made a basket and especially when he made several in a row. Patrick also enjoyed challenger baseball, floor puzzles, pop the pig, paw patrol and bubble guppies. Walmart was his favorite place to go but he was already ready for a ride to anywhere.

Patrick is survived by his father, Norman Patrick Robinson, Jr; mother, Somer Pickard and her husband Tommy Pickard; paternal grandmother, Shirley Robinson; maternal grandparents, Vickie Sheffield and Tom Pickard (Justina); four brothers, Onix Pickard, Brandon Pickard, Graiden Zembellas and Jareth Zembellas and three sisters, Pia S. Robinson, Montanna Pickard and Railyn Pickard. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Patrick was very Blessed and loved in his life. He had a vast village and it included family, friends, teachers, nurses, aides, therapists, and first responders. Thank you to everyone who cared and supported my beautiful boy. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your unwavering generosity and supports all of these years.
