Obituary

Mrs. Nora Ann (Drake) Jordan, cherished mother, devoted sister, and steadfast friend, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on May 20, 1962, in Florala, Alabama, she was the beloved daughter of Willie Drake and Sarah Frances Crews Drake.

A longtime resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Mrs. Jordan embraced her Christian faith with sincerity and devotion, finding strength and comfort in her love for the Lord. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to the service of others, working faithfully in retail and as a caregiver, where her compassion and warmth touched many lives. She delighted in spending treasured moments with her family, honing her culinary skills, and nurturing the beauty of her garden’s blooming flowers.

Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her father, Willie Drake; her mother, Sarah Drake Campbell; her grandfather, Charlie Drake; her grandmothers, Cary (Callie) Drake and Nora Beatrice Smith; five brothers, William Earl Drake, Willie Dean Drake, Infant Charles Edwin Drake, Charles Eugene Drake, and James Curtis Drake; and her sister, Carrie Jeanette (Drake) Bryan.

She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Michael and Patrick Alexander; her three sisters, Frances Irene McKee, Eileen Stanley, and Betty Lou Hayes; her grandson; her granddaughter, Jordaine Jordan and one great-grandson; as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews who carry forward her enduring legacy.

In celebrating the life of Mrs. Nora Ann Jordan, we honor a woman whose gentle spirit and unwavering love enriched all who knew her, leaving behind memories that will forever blossom in the hearts of her family and friends.

Service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be held at Ray Cemetery.
