In Loving Memory of Nancy Lena Jandreau
February 5, 1941 – April 24, 2026
A Journey Home
Nancy Lena Jandreau, a woman of unmatched strength and boundless warmth, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, April 24, 2026. While her departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, her family finds comfort in knowing she has finally gone home to be reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband, Ronald Jandreau.
A Life of Joy and Resilience
Born in Michigan on February 5, 1941, Nancy dedicated her life to her family. To those who knew her, she was the definition of resilience—the strongest person they had ever met. She possessed a rare and beautiful spirit; Nancy never met a stranger she couldn't make friend, and she never met a person she couldn’t make smile. She lived by a simple code of kindness, always seeking ways to help others and brightening every room she entered.
A Legacy of Love
Nancy and Ronald were more than just parents; they were the pillars of their family. Together, they blessed their children with the greatest gift a parent can give: the absolute certainty of being loved. Her children remember her as the "piece of sunshine" in their lives, a woman whose beauty was matched only by her inner fortitude.
**Nancy’s legacy lives on through her devoted family:
Her Children:
* Ken Jandreau
* Penny Simmons
* Ron Jandreau Jr. and his wife, Kimberlee
* Michele Jandreau-Sakhai and her husband, Mishel
* Nancy Sookoo and her husband, Ronnie
Her Grandchildren: She was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and great-grandmother of two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
A Final Farewell
Though a light has gone out in this world, Nancy’s warmth will continue to shine through the smiles of her children and grandchildren. She was a woman who gave everything to those she loved, and she will be missed beyond words.
"She was our strength, our smile, and our sunshine. Knowing she is back in the arms of our father gives us the solace we need to carry her memory forward."
Rest in peace, Nancy. You are home at last.
