Nancy “Mae” Campbell was born on December 2, 1970, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, to Daniel W. and Nancy A. (Stanley) Campbell. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 21, 2026, after a long illness. Mae was 55 years old and a resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida. She attended Ponce de Leon High School.

Mae loved family gatherings and was happiest when she was cooking for the people she loved, especially her deviled eggs. She enjoyed sitting and visiting with family and friends, fishing, and tinkering around in the yard when she was able. Mae had a special love for her Boston Terrier, Bruno, whom she considered her baby and faithfully cared for.

Mae was preceded in death by her daddy, Danny Campbell; her mother, Nancy Campbell; her brother, Aubrey Campbell; her paternal grandmother, Estelle Simmons (John); her paternal great-grandmother, Cassie Johns; her paternal grandfather, William “Bill” Campbell; her maternal grandmother, Grace Dykes; her maternal grandfather, Calvin Stanley; her special aunt, Ellen McDougald and many other beloved aunts, uncles, and relatives.

She is survived by her stepmom, Becky Campbell of Ponce de Leon; her brother, Waylon Campbell of Ponce de Leon; her sister, Amanda Alford (Danny) of DeFuniak Springs; her longtime companion, Adam Givens of Tampa, Florida, with whom she shared many years; aunts, Barbara Fannin of Freeport and Rosemary Tighe of Gas City, Indiana; her uncle, John Simmons (Emily) of DeFuniak Springs; and her very special uncle, Aubrey Stanley of Bruce, Florida, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her nephew, Ethan Alford; her nieces, Malacie Dixson (Colton), Marissa Campbell, Kinsley Alford, Danielle Campbell, and Annaston “Anna” Campbell; her great-niece, Adalyn Dixson; her great-nephew, Hunter Dixson, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Mae will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
